Once in a blue moon, a horror unleashes itself upon the world. Seeking revenge at their cruel treatment, suffering at the feet of their enemies.
Yes, the time had come for them to rebel. Time for mankind to know what terror that lies in the sock drawer.
Little Billy was in his bed fast asleep, tired and yawning, socks on his feet.
The blue moon shown down, catching the socks in its light. They changed and roared, waking Billy with fright.
Jumping off his feet, Billy’s socks hopped off the bed, teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red.
Then the dresser drawer opened, and the other socks jumped out and roared. Billy screamed for his mom and dashed out the door.
Mom woke up at once, and rushed to save Billy from his doom. From the kitchen she grabbed her weapons, the frying pan and a broom.
She stood between Billy and the sinister socks, whacking the fiends fiercely with a one, two chop.
The socks tried to fight, but they found themselves outmatched. Seeking escape, they jumped through the mail slot and dashed.
Mom opened up the door, and Billy gasped in surprise. The street was filled with socks! Everyone’s had come alive!
The socks roared and howled their vicious song towards the moon, little knowing that up above lay their doom.
A flock of birds flew above the town that night, seeing the chaos in the streets. They dove down to stop the fuss. The sinister socks screamed “Eek!”
People watched in awe as the birds extended their claws, and dragged the socks into the sky.
People screamed in cheer, for now the socks knew fear, for now they were bedding for their lives.
