It was beautiful day to be out in the park. The sun was shining. Parents were playing with their kids. A strong gust of wind decided to blow, chasing away the summer heat.

Yes, everything was peaceful. Unless you were in the air, then it was war!

Two mortal enemies stood in combat, facing each other. On the left, floated a large Red Kite with a battalion of smaller white kites flying underneath it. While on the right, floated a big Black Kite with an army of orange kites flying underneath it.

"You're going down!" said the Black Kite to the Red Kite.

"Bring it on," said the Red Kite.

As if a silent gun just went off, the army of white and orange kites started to battle each other. Their commanders just watched. Both the Black Kite and the Red Kite had confidence that their subjects would win.

It was a hard fought battle, but one that neither side won. The white and orange kites were equal in power.  As soon as they collided, they crashed to the ground.

The Black Kite was disappointed by the result of the battle. He narrowed his painted yellow eyes at the Red Kite. The Black Kite was determined to prove which of them was superior in power.

Flame started to pour out of the Black Kite's folds as it charged at the Red Kite. A black aura surrounded the flames the Black Kite had summoned, making them look even more eerie and dangerous.

"I'm taking you down!" yelled the Black Kite, as it charged towards the Red Kite, ready to burn his opponent to ashes.

The Red Kite was unamused, and just floated where it was as the Black Kite continued to charge.

Ten feet away! Eight Feet! Five Feet! All hope seemed lost for the Red Kite.

Suddenly, the Red Kite pulled off a move that left the Black Kite stunned. The Red Kite started to glow, emitting a powerful, bright red light.

The Black Kite's yellow eyes were blinded in the presence of such a powerful red light. The flames around the Black Kite disappeared, and the wind under its wings grew still.

Without a moment to recover, the Black Kite plummeted to the ground, while the Red Kite hovered in victory.

A small boy with fiery red hair, pointed ears, and black clothes approached the fallen Black Kite. His blue eyes glared at another boy, as the Red Kite was brought down from the sky.

The boy who had been in control of the Red Kite had brown hair, wore white clothes, and had an angelic look in his deep green eyes.

"Good game," said the controller of the Red Kite.

"It was" said the controller of the Black Kite “until I got beaten."

"Joseph! Judas! Lunch is ready!" yelled a loud female voice.

"Bet you I can make it to the picnic table first," said Judas, smiling evilly at Joseph.

            "You're on," said Joseph.

With that said, both boys ran to where their mother was calling them, leaving their kites behind.
